It started with a pothole.
It was an unmarked road defect on a segment that had not been inspected in over a year. It appeared after winter and was easy to miss until it was too late.
Our founder was riding his motorcycle when he hit it at speed. Afterward, one question kept coming up:
"Why didn't anyone know this was here?"
He survived. Many road hazards can only be fixed when teams know where the damage is and how urgent it is.
Traditional road inspection can be expensive, infrequent, and slow compared with how quickly roads deteriorate.
That became the starting point for RoadPulse.
RoadPulse uses vehicles already moving through a road network to collect condition data more frequently. Public works vehicles, municipal fleets, and approved drivers can help surface issues before they become larger repairs.
We cannot prevent every accident. We can help road teams find damage earlier, prioritize repairs, and keep records that support their decisions.
